- Zareh will then distribute Medical forms to the coaches. Zareh also needs to publish the numbers of jerseys on the site.
- Zareh also wants to know about people who registered and are not playing.
- Dave Ciraulo – Dave is concerned about numbers for upcoming years based on current Pee Wee enrollment, particularly grades 1 and 2. He has been networking through parents to gain additional players. From a promotional vantage point the kids will wear their jersey the first day of school to raise awareness. Dave is thinking about awareness overall in the community. Pee Wee is still willing to accept kids. Do we want to consider advertising in the forecaster or some signs around town. Melissa suggested that a note go in Principals notes letting people know Pee Wee is still accepting registrations. Consider a stuffer to go home with the other hand-outs to with kids flyer and/or registration form. Auditorium announcements. Jan Bennett (Plummer-Motz Library) is doing a bulletin board. Have upper classman in their jerseys go to the schools perhaps with registration forms. Zareh will get something in the Principals notes. The last time we did this we handed out coupons to the games and a copy of the HS Schedule. Have the kids put their name on a coupon and have it go into a drawing at the game to win a free piece of merchandise. Rob will help however he can.

- After a lot of effort by Kevin and others we ended putting up a wall and a door, Randy made some benches and this is what we′ll have for now.
Concessions:
- Zareh needs to know what level of concessions/volunteers we want for Youth games. Volunteers need to be coordinated by each VP.
- Tail Gate Party for Home Games – concerns about this impacting proceeds for concessions. Should not be a concern
- Need to be conscious of how the Tail Gates impact Gate proceeds. Randy is working on Gate details.

Equpiment Update
· Coaches hats ordered MS – through Youth
· Equipment bags for MS may not be in for this year.
· Mark is still waiting on a few outstanding equipment issues from last year. He is still tracking this down.
Open Forum
· Mike wanted to know if we have a trainer for the MS games? Rob will send Casey to MS games.
· Equipment storage kids will not be able to throw their items in the front hall at the Middle School. There may be a locker room that can be utilized.
· Transportation to home games. This has been handled via carpooling in the past. Bob Gilman is asking these questions of Mike.
· After school study hall. Jeff Rodman is willing to give it another shot. Last year stuff was stolen and kids were being disruptive. The room was a mess. If we can put together guidelines about how we are going to run the class then they will listen. Perhaps we should consider a combo arrangement with a room for those who want to study and some type of gym arrangement so those who want to can get some physical activity. A group of parents are advocating that this be in place.
· Pee wee has established a league with Portland, Cumberland, Yarmouth, Rockland. Each team will play each team once. 8 Weeks of play in total. Falmouth will host the semi- finals on the 28th. The two winning teams will go to Fitzpatrick on Sunday morning. The kids like their jerseys.
· Any plans to strengthen the MS program – all around. Registration, schedule, etc. We approached Jason before about pulling out of triple c and joining another league. There are some roadblocks from us pulling out and going into another league. Zareh will have Jason join us at our next meeting so we can discuss this directly with him.
HS Scholarship:
· Rob put forth the idea to establish a Football scholarship for a graduating HS senior a few weeks ago and brought the a draft of what that might look like for review.
o Played for min of 5 years
o Maintained a B average senior year.
o Community service obligations
o Going on to college after HS.
o Possible amount $ 1,000. Is it needs based?
o Per Jason this would have to go to Guidance with whatever we develop. Generally kids need to apply and such a program would have bylaws. Also with a scholarship fund you invest in something that feeds the program or we just budget for this every year. Rob will follow-up with the Guidance department for additional information and bring back a revised proposal with more information.
Next Meeting: Monday, October 2nd 7 p.m.
Adjourn at 8:40.
Respectfully submitted,
Tricia Tetreau
